Chong Wai Choong is a business-finance professional with 28 years of international experience.  He started his career with Ernst & Young and moved on to Johnson & Johnson where he participated in the spin-off of the Pharmaceutical division, and the integration of Singapore and Malaysia followed by Dumex (Danish nutritional company, subsequently acquired by Danone, a French FMCG) where he assumed the position of Regional Financial Controller followed by a promotion to Finance Director and eventually to Regional Finance Director. Having worked for almost 8 years with Dumex, he was instrumental in the setting up (1) SAP Shared Services, (2) the Hyperion budgeting system and he was a key team member in setting up the regional manufacturing center in Malaysia (for 20 countries). His next station was Bumi Armada (oil & gas) to set up SAP and their Shared Services Center. In 2011, he accepted a global role as Group Controller with Besins Healthcare (a French/Belgian pharmaceutical company) and subsequently relocated to the new group head-quarters in Bangkok. He was key in setting up the global controlling and reporting structure.
